Full Stack Engineer / Healf

London, UK · Remote

UK online store for supplements and wellbeing products, shipping across Europe and worldwide.

  • Built search, onboarding, subscription and checkout features with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js and Python for a UK online store serving customers across Europe.
  • Built AI-powered semantic search and personalized discovery with Python, FastAPI and React; an A/B test showed a 3 to 4% conversion improvement.
  • Built subscriptions and onboarding on Supabase and PostgreSQL with row-level security, so each customer could only see their own data.
  • Added server-side identity validation to a store-credit feature, preventing account and credit abuse before it could happen.
  • Wrote Playwright tests for search, checkout and account journeys, and used production monitoring to trace regressions to their cause.

2024 – 2025

Software agency that places engineers with international clients and builds its own products.

  • Took sole ownership of a customer-support dashboard for Mitsubishi Electric covering returns, warranty claims and invoicing, and shipped it to production.
  • Maintained the frontend of a very large auditing application, fixing bugs and keeping it stable alongside other React and TypeScript apps.
  • Built reusable React and TypeScript components with typed REST API integrations, so new screens shipped faster and stayed consistent.

2023 – 2024

Frontend Developer / Deriv

Cyberjaya, Malaysia

Global fintech company; a monorepo shared by 50+ frontend engineers.

  • Developed financial trading web applications with TypeScript in a codebase shared by 50+ frontend engineers.
  • Built a custom ESLint plugin that flagged hard-coded text instead of the shared translate function; the main repository adopted it in its production build.
  • Migrated a large frontend codebase from JavaScript to TypeScript, improving type safety for the whole team.

SaaS dashboards for IoT devices in buildings, and cloud software for a large vending machine vendor.

  • Cut dashboard load times by roughly 50% by memoizing heavy calculations, removing needless re-renders and making table search efficient on very large data sets.
  • Developed production dashboards and device provisioning workflows with React and REST APIs.
  • Integrated Stripe for scheduling and payments, so the company could take bookings and payments online.

The playback engine is a pure function of time, so the preview and the exported animated GIF match exactly, with GIF encoding in a Web Worker.
